Consignment 101

Preparing your Consignment 

Clothing should be laundered and folded in a bag or box - no hangers please. Shoes and accessories should have minimal wear. All jewelry and watches must be in working condition.

We are looking for contemporary styles, 1-3 years old and selectively accept Vintage pieces. For art and collectible items please include the provenance and any relevant information on your drop off form.

Bring Your Items In At Your Convenience

No appointment is needed, so come in any time. We will ask you to stay in the store while we look through your things. We will give you a drop-off receipt after inspection.

Within 21 days of dropping off your pieces, a Pricing Specialist will look over your items one final time before entering them into our system. Items may be further passed-on at this time.

 

You will receive an e-mail containing your itemized price list, contract Claim Date, Markdown Dates and a notification of any passed on items along with a Pick-Up deadline if applicable .

 

The e-mail designates the start of your 7 week contract and contains important information regarding reclaiming unsold items and markdown dates. Please review it carefully.  

Contract & Payment Details

In the body of the e-mail sent from our Pricing Specialist, you will find your Claim Date and Markdown Dates. Your Claim Date is the final day of your contract and the LAST day to pick up unsold items. You may come in to reclaim any unsold pieces on or before your Claim Date.  Please provide at least 24 hours notice via email or phone before reclaiming items.


Please note that anything left in-store after your Claim Date, immediately becomes property of TROVE.

You will receive a Commission Check on everything that sold during your contract period and you will earn 40% of the sale price net credit card fees if applicable. Checks will be mailed on the 15th of the month after your Claim Date and will include an invoice of sold items and fees if applicable.
